7 REASONS WHY LEAVING AN UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP IS HARD (PART 1)
💔
Ending a relationship with someone you once loved is never easy.
And leaving an unhealthy relationship is equally challenging for many people. This is because, in addition to the sadness of a breakup, other factors come into play, such as issues related to self-esteem and the impact of your own past...
Tea Talk Vietnam & CoRE presents the first 3 reasons WHY it's hard for you to leave an unhealthy relationship ☹️
1. Your self-esteem has been damaged 🤕
Leaving an unhealthy relationship may require a healthy self-esteem. However, if you've been subjected to toxic behavior, belittlement, or emotional erosion for an extended period, this can be difficult to achieve.
2. You're trying to understand 🤔
"We all want someone to love us unconditionally, so (sometimes) we force ourselves to do that for others even when it's not the best thing for us," says Kociub.
The important thing is to recognize when a relationship is no longer valuable, stop thinking about others, and allow yourself to let go of this relationship.
3.You grew up with toxic parents 👨‍👩‍👧
If you find it challenging to step out of an unhealthy relationship, it might be because you're accustomed to negative situations, the unexpected.
You may "stay calm in chaotic situations if it has some similarities to your childhood experiences and/or resembles the relationship with your parents," according to Bustle.
It's easy to repeat harmful habits you lived with as a child. To change and heal those wounds, you may need psychological therapy to redirect your life towards a healthier path. 🌈🌻
To understand yourself and heal childhood wounds, Tea Talk Vietnam & CoRE invites you to join the "KÉN NHỎ" workshop on the theme of CHILDHOOD TRAUMA.
